Client hired the firm to identify a high-quality investment property in Santa Barbara for a buyer in an exchange.
RESULTS:
Cornell and Leider uncovered an investment opportunity and presented an unsolicited offer to purchase the building at 3780 State Street in Santa Barbara. Rodeo Enterprises purchased the building for $9.5 million, with Cornell and Leider representing both the Seller and the Buyer in the transaction. The new owner hired Cornell and Leider to renew the lease with First American Title Company for their 10,000 sf office in the building and to market a ground floor space of 5,500 sf to secure a new tenant.
ADDITIONAL ASSIGNMENTS:
Leider had sold the building to the previous owner of the building at 3780 State, Baril Hotels Limited.
